Hey there 👋
Welcome to Stempad, a place where all different types of scientific writing can co-exist. Yesterday, I had a dream about the Butterfly Curve. The equation of this curve generates an elegant butterfly-shaped plot.

Let's try and graph this.

History
The butterfly curve was discovered by Temple H. Fay in 1989. Not to be confused with the Sextic Plan Curve shown below.

Advanced Modelling
We can plot a variation of the butterfly curve using Python.

We can even try to draw a molecule that resembles the Butterfly Curve if we wanted to.

Why stop there? What about a butterfly shaped short circuit?

Remarkable work. But there are likely better tools suited for drawing arbitrary shapes.

Recap
Block nameBlock purpose
/mathTyping equations fast.
/graphCreating 2D plots.
/imageUploading or embedding images. I can also paste images and links.
/codeCode snippets in any language that can be run.
/chemistryMolecular sketching, not for drawing butterflies.
/circuitDraw circuit schematics.
/drawDraw anything, including a butterfly.
/tableSimple, flexible table.
And that's a wrap.
